Custom Order Policy

Hi there! Thanks so much for your interest in a custom piece. Creating bespoke items is my one of my favourite things to do as an artist and I want to make sure the process is enjoyable and clear for both of us.

Because custom orders often come with sentimental meaning or unique details, clear and regular communication is really important. If I don’t have the details I need to move forward with confidence, I may pause or decline the custom order until everything’s clarified. This ensures the process stays comfortable and respectful for both of us.

I may also need to turn down custom requests in certain cases — for example, if I’m short on time or if a request doesn’t align with my shop values or style

Custom items typically take longer to produce than ready-to-ship or made-to-order pieces. I’ll give you a time estimate based on the size, quantity, and complexity of your request. If you need something sooner, a rush option might be available for an extra fee — just let me know! That said, please understand this may not always be possible.

Pricing & Payment

Each custom item is priced individually to reflect materials and the time it takes to design and create. Once we’ve agreed on the details, the deposit will be due before I begin. This includes:

  • A $15 custom design fee per piece
  • The value of the item(s)
  • A non-refundable deposit, made up of the $15 fee plus 20% of the item value

This deposit helps cover materials and time spent in case an order is cancelled partway through. Once everything’s confirmed, I’ll send you an invoice to the email you’ve provided, including shipping.

If, for any reason, I can’t move forward with your custom (like if I can’t source materials), I’ll let you know and issue a full refund.

Small Tweaks & Special Requests

Small changes to existing designs — like swapping out a component, adding or removing something simple, or requesting a longer chain — might not fall under the full custom process. However, if it becomes a bespoke design, the $15 fee may apply. I’ll always let you know if your request falls under this policy.
